Very tasty food. Lovely staff
Went here a few nights ago with my children. Before getting a table, we asked about their family policy and they indicated that they were fine with children as long as food was ordered. After ordering food and staying a short period, we were rudely approached by a staff member indicating that we needed to order mains for the children to be permitted, and then we were scolded for not reading the sign upon entering. We left shortly after that terse interaction and reviewed the sign again, it said nothing about needing to order mains. Disappointed that after a fairly nice time here a staff member decided to ruin the experience by being abrupt, and not understanding their own rules.
It was fine. Not very busy, but the food was good as was the service. Recommended
Cosy bar nestled nicely in between a few busy streets in central Glasgow. The draft selection is fab, massive fan of Hazy Jane in there! We arrived as a large group, where our table was waiting. All meals arrived at the same time, hot and tasty. Our server Grant was faultless! He was polite, attentive and hilarious. Thank you team Merchant
This pub had a good atmosphere and the service was fairly good. The glasses were small like the ones you get in hotel bathrooms but the thing that really let it down was the fact that our party was seated at a reserved table which was uncomfortably cold due to the air conditioning.
Visited this pub last week with friends. Excellent atmosphere even on a Sunday! The staff were all excellent in particular Eilidh who took the time to recommend a new drink and rum, which were so good! Will definitely be back!
Decent veggie options & generous portion sizes, super affordable prices for being in the city centre. Drinks were also definitely value for money & had impressive selection of spirits on the bar. Friendly service & sound staff, Grant & Gvidas were great. Look forward to visiting again when back in Glasgow :
The sharing plates were lovly n very good prices defo b going bakx
I have passed this pub for many years, but we saw they were showing the rugby,so we went in and we were amazed by the atmosphere we went upstairs because it was so busy and was welcomed by the bar man he got us a great seat, had a meal and a drink . Will definitely return
First time in there - nice inside - got the feel of an old pub, but a modern version lots of screens lots of sports - varied menu - reasonable prices - had the ultimate tikka masala- enjoyed it - I will be back
