Nice pub conveniently located near Glasgow Central Station. A warm welcome for this solo female traveller from the friendly staff - live that they gave me a prime position rather than tucking me away in a corner. The food is good, the service excellent. I love the little touches such as free sanitary and hygiene products in the women's bathroom. Lots of television screens - a good place to watch the World Cup.
Decent pub near the Central Station. This was our third pub of the day. Food looked good but we had already ate lunch. Beer selection was limited. Sam enjoyed her gin. Toilets were clean.
This place is fabulous. In my opinion the people visuting here were mostly aged 30 plus but that suited us perfectly. People looking for a great pub and fabulous food. Couldn't fault this place at all. The staff were absolutely professional and friendly and I noted just how good they were with food and drinks orders and kept the place feeling relaxed in atmosphere. Cant wait to be back. Superb!! The bar bites were 10 out of 10. You are definitely my number 1 pub in Glasgow.
Our first time in ages, great food and even better service. This place really is a gem. We had some small plates today with our pints and the food was delicious. As a veggie I was pleased to see plenty of delicious sounding options on the menu for me! We will be back again soon.
We were very happy with our food, cocktails, and service from the staff. I had the burger which was awesome and we ordered one to-go for my partner who says it was delicious, also. My mom had the nachos but didn't enjoy them as much as she could have because the cilantro/coriander was not listed on the menu description. Father had the fish and chips & added prawns which he said were all very fresh. Overall great dining experience!
We popped into this pub for a pint and stayed for supper. The steak pie with bone in was delicious. Special thanks to our server Elisa who was really accommodating in getting us a table and helpful in explaining the menu. Recommended!
Perfectly cooked burger. A little messy to eat, but no good burger is clean to eat. Great cocktails. I recommend the Foxypolitan. Staff is very friendly and attentive without going overboard.
A gem of a pub. Was in here for the first time at the weekend and absolutely loved it. Nice chilled atmosphere, football on the screens and great drinks and food. I had the shawarma and my wife had the french dip....both unreal! Service was next to none also, will definitely be back!
Within 5 minutes walk from our hotel and subsequently Glasgow Central Station we stumbled across this gem of a venue. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff were among the first things we noticed. The tables were clean and of good quality. Not a wobble in sight at our one We ordered at the bar and our drinks were brought over to the table, avoiding the awkward 'stand at the bar and watch your drinks be poured' stage. Food came quickly and was hot and well prepared. Tasted pretty damn good too. I opted for the Haggis Bon bons with whisky sauce, which was up there with some of the best I have tasted. And living in the Highlands I have tasted my fair share. I also had the Buffalo chicken wings/tenders, finally a buffalo sauce which actually tasted spicy. Well done. My wife had the loaded mac and cheese which chilli beef, which she enjoyed as well. All for a reasonable price. Plus they were playing the football which helped. I would definitely go back.
Just dropped by for a pint on a Wednesday afternoon. The bar was reasonably busy considering the time of day. The beer selection was good and the staff efficient.
