Story

Times Square is a family friendly bar/restaurant in the centre of Glasgow. It is the perfect place to enjoy a break from your shopping, a lunch time treat or a friendly Glasgow night out.

Known for our welcoming atmosphere and great value for money, our restaurant is an ideal place to enjoy quality food. Our casual menus' offer something for everyone, whether you're after an all day breakfast, an amazing lunchtime offers or a fantastic afternoon feast. Food is served seven days a week from opening until 8pm.

Not in for a bite to eat? Then enjoy the banter in our main bar, where you can enjoy live sports on one of our four large screen TV's.

We also have a selection of private and semi-private bar areas that can be booked for whenever the occasion demands.

Amazing food, really friendly staff and quick service. Cannot fault it. The highlight was definitely the haggis bonbons and the Scotsman loaded fries! The Tennants rounded things off nicelyFood: 5/5
Food was good and one of the staff friendly, but that's the slowest service I have ever experienced. Over 1.5h after coming and still got no dessert. Took forever to be seated and place the order. Place nearly empty. My understanding is the waitress placed an order and it was delayed by the kitchen. However it doesn't leave a good impression on the business.
Nice bar with a beer garden, pretty inside and the food is excellent value, huge portions of tasty food! They have burgers, pub classics, sandwiches and more plus cracking starters like Crispy Babybels which are bloody amazing. I'll go back just for those Crispy Babybels, genius.
Sat outside HOWDY'S on Times Square, which is a Country Music themed bar. It was a nice day to sit and watch the world go by. There was a country musician playing inside the bar, and it sounded really good. The the atmosphere was good, service excellent. Not sure if they serve food. Recommended.Service: 5/5

Food here is usually great however on Sunday we had a 16:30 booking for dinner. After waiting to be seated and given menus we were still left sitting for 30 minutes with no drinks or site of anyone coming to take our orders. We’ve been a couple of times before and have had severs forget about us. The lack of staff and organisation isn’t worth it, won’t be returning
The experience left mich to be desired. When we were sat, they took over 25minutes to take our order or drink order. "OH, I thought your order was already taken", our host was our waiter and only worked with one other person, the resturaunt was slow. On top of that, food took a while to come out, when it did, the food for the rest of my party was edible, not good, not great, not enjoyable. My food, was not edible, I was served rotten lettuce in a side salad ordered, thankfully, the waitress offered to take it off the bill. The vinegarette was not good either. I ordered the Cajun pasta. The serving size was alright, the taste was just a bunch of spices, no cream, no butter, no wine, no fresh element like an herb, it looked microwaved, the sauce was watery, overcooked bell peppers and onions. It wasnt pleasent at all. A party memeber ordered the Chicken club, the chicken was dry, hardly any condiment on the bread, and they forgot the tomato. Had our server checked on us during our meal, we could have expressed our issues with our food, but they only showed once we were "done". Lack of service, and poor food. Skip this place, it's not worth the Euros. I hope Scotland has better while visiting.
Visited yesterday and the pub was extremely busy. Due to this it was table service only. Staff tried their best however service was very slow and a little chaotic. Drinks were missing and orders messed up. Kevin the waiter was very helpful and sorted out our issues quickly. The manager also was very apologetic and came over to our table to speak to us which was greatly appreciated. Great pub and customer service from staff under extreme pressure.
The dining experience was exceptional from start to finish! The crispy onion rings were delightful, perfectly crunchy with just the right amount of seasoning. As a vegetarian, I often opt for regular cheese on my burgers, but I completely forgot to request it this time. Surprisingly, the vegan burger I ordered was so flavorful and satisfying that I didn't miss the cheese at all! Each bite was bursting with savory goodness, and the texture was spot on. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant. It's rare to find such a gem where both the food and ambiance exceed expectations. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a delicious meal with top-notch service!
Incredible food, we got the burger sliders and babybel starter and it was incredible. Too much food for two people, and only 20 quid total. Lovely staff, really nice atmosphereFood: 5/5
