Went in for a trial session this evening that I booked online, which was followed up with a phone call shortly after to come in. Spoke to the lady at reception, no one had any idea I was due to come in. Following me explaining I filled the online form in, I then had to fill out my details once again. And was told to head on in, not knowing where the changing rooms where, lay out of the equipment or that I’d need to bring a padlock along for the lockers! Worst customer service I’ve ever had the displeasure of experiencing, there are far far better gyms in Hull. Just tried X4L out because it’s convenient to my work/home commute. Think it’s safe to say I would much rather spend the extra time travelling to a gym that have competent and polite staff! Suppose that’s why it’s cheap!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Constant mess up with fees my son was signed up under the age limit and allowed to train on his own then they made up the amount of money they wanted to take in direct debits avoid at all costs. Only thing this place has going for it is some of the staff are human and don't walk around like everyone should bow to them because they think they're 10 men ( women included)

Cheap and had everything you need though it can get crowded because of that which means that getting a machine or weight can be struggle. Also get used to the out of order sign but what do you expect for a tenner a month. The people are very friendly and helpful. Get your bod.
