I've been training at MD Martial Arts since January and I highly recommend this gym. If you've ever wanted to try any of the disciplines that they teach here then don't put it off, come down and have a go. For multiple reasons I put off trying any martial arts until my young son and fast approaching 40th birthday spurred me into giving it a go. And I honestly wish I'd done it much sooner. The coaches here are experienced, knowledgeable and approachable and the atmosphere in the classes is friendly and fun. I bring my young son here as well for the kids classes and have seen a big increase in his confidence and skill levels. Brilliant gym. Highly recommended.
We joined my son up to md when he was 5 years old, he was extremely shy and nervous what Vickie, Andy and the team here have taught him is invaluable. My son is now thriving and trying new things everyday. He joined the clubs leadership programme a year ago and it has helped him so much in all aspects of his life he is now much more confident and outgoing. All I can say is thank you for everything. This club is amazing! If you are looking for a friendly, knowledgeable and well rounded gym for children and adults alike, look no further.
Fantastic gym. I have been bringing my children here since they turned 4. So, I have had experience of meeting the trainers and watching the training over the last 5-6 years. They do a tremendous job. My children love it. They have learned loads and still loads more to learn. I see many children week in and week out. Once they come they stay die harders! The staff are welcoming and friendly and eager to teach. I highly recommend the place to all people. Only Negative is the parking - so get there 15 mins early and all will be well.
If your child is looking to do Martial Arts you couldn't go to a better place , the staff are brilliant , they enjoy teaching the children life skills and the children in turn enjoy being taught ,I cannot recommend this Martial Arts centre enough
started my first class here around 2 months ago and haven't missed a bjj class since, I used to play rugby in my late teens early 20s until I got badly injured and let my fitness and physique go. now I am 31 and wanting to get back into shape using martial arts, in the 2 months I have been coming I have managed to lose 47lbs and learn jui jitsu in the process, the staff are great and the students are so friendly and welcoming. I couldn't recommend more highly!!
Fantastic martial arts gym. Pretty new to combat sports, all coaches and members are really friendly. Was really shocked by how helpful everyone is to helping me progress, I’m 3 weeks in now and have payed for a year’s membership absolutely loving it
amazing gym full of amazing people and fantastic coaches! Great atmosphere and the quality of the equipment is superb. The standard of teaching is extremely high, couldn't recommend this gym enough for whatever your goals are!
Boxing class is brilliant. Great place to get fit, with modern facilities and friendly staff.
Been training here for about 2 months, great value for money, friendly atmosphere, and I’m surprised just how quickly my technique’s improved. Whether you’re looking to fight competitively, learn practical self-defence or just improve your fitness, I’d recommend this place to anyone.
An excellent gym run by friendly welcoming instructors with a fun but disaplind hard working atmosphere that builds confidence and fitness through experienced instructors and helpfull fellow gym buddies. Can't help but get into the team like atmosphere once you get going. Massively appreciate all the time and effort everyone instructors and members have put into helping me and others go from almost zero experience to fighting in a huge white collar boxing event at the KC Stadium in Hull in the space of 8 weeks! The hardest thing is getting off the sofa and turning up to training...but if you do then MDMA gym will get you to where you want to be. Thanks again so much to all at MDMA.
