Never waste time for complaints but haven't been helped numerous times and now I'm being ignored. Fit4Gym was the most convenient gym when I lived in Hull so decided to try it out. Left my details to get a pass but a fortnight after moved to other city. Unfortunately, got enrolled to marketing emails and with me being far off, I do not wish receiving those any further. Tried to unsubscribe manually since 5 months but never become a member, therefore my account doesn't exist and I cannot do it myself. Have rung 3 times and very kind staff members promised to get my email off their database but, although this hasn't been very successful. Also, sent an email which probably got lost in the Universe when my name appeared on the screen: The telephone is never answered now, therefore must leave some comments. Had a similar situation with a different business last week and was solved within 30 minutes after emailing their IT team. The Customer Service delivered was First Class even from people working behind a computer most of their time. Was very happy to leave positive feedback on all Social Media accounts. Having worked in Sales and Customer Service departments since past 8 years, this is just ridiculous how much of my time is being wasted. Future customers be aware it may happen to you when you are not a potential profit anymore!! Edit: Finally got through and hopefully this time very kind Johny helped me with this one.
Pros : its usually pretty empty Good size for everything you need to do Theres a good range of equipment Free weights area is good Cons: its dirty, just nasty, dirty drinks holders, dirty changing rooms yuk, the staff room doubles as an avery Theres usually 1/2 machines broken at any one time and repair time seems slow. The gym is no longer competitively priced, the gym is worth 10 quid a month, they've recently doubled that. The gym has been closed with no sign of any staff or owner a couple of times in last few years when it should have been open. If you relay this feedback to the owner he WILL verbally abuse you, call you several swear words before you've even begun speaking. Think very carefully before you get into a contract with this gym, the contract is run by a company called harlands and if you have a dispute with them its very very hard to get any resolution, they will just keep hounding you for money and ignore your side of the argument while fobbing you off with "yes, I'll get on to and ring you back"
Great value for money. Very friendly staff and helpful. Since joining over one month ago I am more motivated and enjoy going to the Gym.
No A/C in this gym so in the summer is unberably hot in the winter on the other hand is freezing. Most of the lockers are broken, showers are broken. I always Pay 9.50 per month I was loyal customer for 3years, one day they ask me for my details "just to check if my details has changed" and from next month onwards to my surprise they start to charge me 12.50 without letting me know. So after that incident I cancel my membership. After I criticised the gym on the facebook for lack of A/C they block me on facebook so I can't comment anymore.
This gym used to be amazing, great atmosphere and even better however they have just posted the most apt meme "you only get out what you put in. Don't expect more until you do more"... the put in 0 effort to staff retention and attention to details, the place is unclean and unwelcoming
A great no nonsense gym! Plenty or machines, loads of free weights, punch bags and an area for ladies if they want to stay out the main area. Highly recommended if you just want no frills fitness.
Excellent Gym, equipment, staff and value. Was't a massive fan of gyms but really like this gym as it's very user friendly. Highly recommend!
Love this Gym! Great equiptment and friendly staff : highy recommend oh and did I mention its cheaper than a pint a week!!
Loads of equipment everything you need whatever your into for a good workout showers aren't the best but its £12 a month
Great equipment great relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff who put everyone at ease whatever your fitness levels love it!
