Love this place. Been a member for 12 years and have been taking my daughter since she was 2. It's like a small oasis of peace, aside from the noise of wildfowl. They do great work helping to conserve some endangered species, and it's a great place for people to connect with the birds..

The WWT is a great place to enjoy wildlife and nature. The walks through the woods and around the ponds are great and in the summer expect to many dragonflies around the pond areas. Many smaller children will also enjoy it because there various activities for every season, such as the easter duck trail, pond dipping and play ground also it provides them an educational experience too. However to improve the experience it would be really good to have an indoor picnic area for rainy days or the winter time and in my opinion the summer meadow walk should be brought back.

A great place for people and wildlife! There's fantastic opportunities to get up close to some of the birds, or to sit all day in a hide observing a wonderful selection of North East wildlife. The staff and volunteers all seem friendly and happy too!

Excellent place to visit, we have been members for 2 years now and always enjoy ourselves. The duck trails this time kept the kids amused even though the weather was pretty bad and we always love seeing the otters
