The chips were lovely and crisp on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. The cod was in a deliciously crispy batter and was moist and piping hot inside. The regular-sized portions for both the cod and chips were very generous, and I felt stuffed by the end of it.nnIt's worth eating at a table in the shop if you can get one, the seagulls can be quite annoying. Everything was clean and the service was excellent. A great traditional chippy in an excellent location.
I’ve just finished a large fish and chips from here, and it was absolutely fantastic. The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—and the chips were golden, fluffy, and delicious. The staff were really friendly and welcoming.nnI’d highly recommend this place if you’re in Swanage and craving great fish and chips. Perfect in every way
Fresh, fast and nice. Highly recommend. If order for two take one big chips otherwise you not gonna make it. Chips looks soggy on the pics but they were superb.nThe place hasn't changed in years and that include quality.nLet's be honest.nBest fish and chips in the area
Nice enough, but nothing special.nVery prompt service.nThe cod tasted good but the batter was a bit greasy.nNice texture to the chips and it was all hot.
