The fish was good, chip's not very good, the meat pie was super good, everything happening very fast, a lot of people, must trie place, but for one time i think
Probably the best chip shop in Swanage.nLocated in a prime position in the square in the town centre.nPlenty of their own outside bench seating but also public seating in the square overlooking the bay.nBEWARE of the gulls!!
My parents and their friends would only buy f&c from here, so I have been coming to this fish and chip shop for decades! Now my family and friends follow suit. If we're visiting Swanage, it's a must do.nThe food is always hot and tasty served by friendly, welcoming staff. They work quickly and efficiently, providing excellent service.nAs far as we're concerned, it'snthe best plaice ! in Swanage. Thank you.
The chips were lovely and crisp on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. The cod was in a deliciously crispy batter and was moist and piping hot inside. The regular-sized portions for both the cod and chips were very generous, and I felt stuffed by the end of it.nnIt's worth eating at a table in the shop if you can get one, the seagulls can be quite annoying. Everything was clean and the service was excellent. A great traditional chippy in an excellent location.
