Good atmosphere. Happy to accept kids up until 2100 which helps us get out once in a while. It's cold by the front door . Good beer choice, plenty of gins too. Chips were great but small portion. Not had a meal.
The bar staff are very helpful & mostly supportive. But when the customers are too noisy or maybe too young or maybe indulging in non licensed intoxicants the security staff were not very effective.
Great service and staff were amazing at explaining and keeping to social distancing measures.
Had our wedding reception here. Super friendly staff, great food. We were made so welcome & looked after brilliantly by Martyn & his whole team. Also a great local pub.

Large, multi-room pub with a wide range of drinks. Once, bit of a real ale mecca, but the range has diminished in favour of craft beers and fashionable spirits. Reasonable number of ales, though many are the standards common to most pubs. The guest ales can be interesting, though pricey. Still a good place to visit and socialise.

I liked this 'layed back' bar, good atmosphere. Enjoyed meal... competitively priced. Very nice welcome!
