I went here last night and overall it wasn’t too bad. However there was a ginger barmaid who had awful service. I’m not usually one to complain however she would blatantly leave people who she had seen had been waiting for 30-40 mins and continued to serve her friends. Also poor by the management as she was the only person on that bar, however I thought she was extremely unprofessional as she kept serving her mates in parts of the bar in which she had told other people they weren’t allowed stand and to top it all off she was giving her mates free drinks whilst also serving them before 15-20 people who had all clearly been there much longer. Multiple customers were also extremely annoyed by this so I hope this is something that can be fixed as it really ruins the image of what is a decent bar.
Absolutely rank pub, came here last night, bouncers were bloody miserable, one male bouncer was lovely mind… Asked for a taxi called as my friends had left me alone in the pub, no taxi was called. Asked to step outside to find out where my friends are to which is apparently not allowed ! I was charged not just for my drinks but for whosever else’s when I was only paying for myself. Bar staff were rude. Also charges 5 quid to get in when it is in an absolute state, toilets are minging, no sense of safety whatsoever not even with the staff as they are so bloody vile, i have never felt so uneasy in a pub in all my life - it was my fault for agreeing to go in there but i didn’t realise it was that grim. You can go to much nicer places for free entry, drinks cheaper and the staff actually care. Thank you for a truly awful night

Disgusting behaviour from the tattooed female bouncer, my sister was manhandled and literally thrown out the pub after asking a question about using the men's toilets. It's okay if you want someone to leave the premises but to physically assault someone is not okay, she wasn't aggressive or arguing with the bouncer in the slightest and yet she was treated like she had done the worst thing imaginable. The one eyed dog needs to assess their staff because that behaviour was disgusting.
Usually go here on a Sunday for a few drinks after work a generally good atmosphere to play some chilled out pool. Good selection of drinks on tap and spirits. Good selection of snacksFood: 3/5
Oh but the place was amazing, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for good atmosphere and prices and a place that's open slightly later than other venues in Portsmouth. Music was alright, plenty of people around so quite fun Food: 5/5
I went here for a social event with society, the atmosphere was incredible the bar staff were friendly, especially Natalia, Marcela, and Diana. There was good music and able to play pool. Overall had a great experience and would defiantly go again.
