Haven't been here since Molly passed. Old time boozer but freshened up no end but still got a homely feel. Juke box playing from 40s to 90s music, darts on TV, but not intrusive like some bars. Very friendly staff. Had trouble with the Directors, was very off but Landlord tried hard to serve a decent pint but no quibble, changed it for London Pride which was good. £10.30 for pint and large wine. Really enjoyed our visit. Will be back.
Fantastic pub with great atmosphere. Drinks good valueFood: 5/5
Visited the pub in the evening a couple of weeks ago, and whilst fine it is not necessarily my sort of pub. Depends entirely on what you're looking for - there were two standard ales on when I visited which were kept to an OK standard. Lively for a week night evening with people playing darts. I would not necessarily choose to go back, but that would be more about it not being my cup of tea than anything else.
Some pub! Loads of locals, a jukebox and darts! Great friendly staff too!Service: 5/5
Great pub for sport on TV and beer. London Pride was top notch.Service: 5/5
Sometimes pop in there for pre gig drinks. Its always full of locals with a very lively atmosphere, sport on the tvs so it ticks boxes for me.
Love this pub, back in the day it was a.quiet pub but now it's very lively how times change Service: 5/5

Great atmosphere, good local pub.Service: 5/5
A great pub on Albert road. Really good alternative on a Friday and Saturday night if you do not like the younger generation and their antics! Generally the clientele is slightly older who use this pub, but everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming regardless of your age. Prices are on par with the rest of the pubs in the road, but house doubles are very good value. Added bonus of a patio area with heaters for the smokers in the winter or a nice place to catch some sun during the summer. Give it a try and see how you feel, sure you won't be disappointed.
