I agree with Paul that it would be great to keep it a secret but we cant...!  its a fantastic place, really friendly, very unique in a proper unique way and not a 'same as everything else unique!' like so many things are these days.  Stewart really looks after the place and ensures everything is well catered for.  He thinks of everything.  Very cleverly put together with the solar power.  My favourite was the radio and hairdryer in the Shower Shack :)  Also a fantastic antique centre on the site selling some amazing objects.  Great location to be able to explore the whole island.  perfect for our cycling trip.

What an absolutely fantastic place. Utterly whimsical and fabulous in every way. Where kids can be kids and run around chasing chickens. Even with a broom! Great bunch of people and the most fantastic hosts with a great story to tell. We loved the showers, the barbecue and the chickens. Oh, and the helicopter that was parked here (not a phrase I've ever used!) Stewart and Linda are fantastic hosts - I'm going to write this and go back for another glass of wine and another story. I'm coming back. If you don't like free range kids - maybe choose another site in the school holidays....

Absolutely top notch - from the idea right through to its execution. 
We were expecting something a bit more rough - after all, it is outdoor camping. However we were simply amazed by the convenience of it all. The campsite is out of the ordinary yet so comforting. 
We don't want to write too much or we'll spoil the wow factor that the place has in store. 
Stewart and Linda are fantastic hosts. Thank you so much !

Staying at Windmill as we speak. Lots of kids running around having fun. Which is not s problem. But when it comes to them chasing chickens around with a broom that's a definite no. And with the parents encouragement. Also pulling at the guide wires of other peoples tents. This is a very big let down to a lovely site.

Great experience... nice facilities and communal cooking area, great for making new friends and meeting people. Worth checking out for sure...
