This is a great campsite, in a good location.bus stop right outside to get around the island with loads of options of day rider tickets to weekend or weekly tickets. Not bad prices either.Shower blocks are lovely and clean. Only issue was wasps, due to the hot weather plenty of them about, but it's not the sites fault just nature I guess.
A lovely site within easy reach of Ryde, the main Tesco Extra 0.5 miles away, and the Red Funnel / Wightlink ferries if using the main A3054/55 routes not the Sat Nav as this can take you down some challenging narrow lanes if towing a caravan. Friendly staff, Superb facilities block, and generous sized pitches in a tiered design within the woods. Red Funnel do some attractive deals including ferry and pitch for 3,5 and 10 day stays. Will definitely visit again.
I'd give a 5 star but the WiFi does not extend that far from reception about a hundred yards otherwise it was all good. We also compared this with other sites we visited and decided we would always come back as it was close to the bus stop for getting around the island and there is a TESCO'S up the road with a McDonald's close by. The facilities were exceptional including a washing machine as great shower block and disabled facilities. Great for dogs too as there is a great track around the whole of the site.
Atmosphere was great, a lot of space, toilets were superbly clean. This is the best caravan park we've been to. Toilet and shower facilities were very clean and showers nice and hot however, only gripe is the showers lasted literally 5 seconds each push, so you had to push it all the time. 10-15 seconds would have been much better but I understand this may be the norm for these type of showers. Other wise perfect. Thank you for having us!!
This site is excellent. Well laid out, large pitches with a large selection of hard and grass pitches, full service and all electric. Many pitches are terraced, supported by a beautiful toilet block which surpasses even the best hotels in its standards. Every aspect of this site ticked 5 stars. If I had to find anything less than 5 stars then it would be the access road which has quite a bumpy surface. Although I would think that this is outside the sites control. Would we visit again, yes, yes, yes. This is one of the nicest sites we have used in our 40 years of touring...Well done...
This campsite is amongst the cleanest I've seen, the shower block and toilets are impeccably clean all times of the day, the grounds are beautifully kept, if it were a hotel it would surely be 5star. Paradise camp of the isle of wight. No surprise its in the top 100 camp sites recommendation, long may it be so.
Been fortunate to visit this campsite on my last day of 4-day cycling trip around IoW and must admit it's got the best spiritual environment and also the quality of facilities compared to all other campsites that I've managed to visit, not only on IoW. Highly recommend and am definitely looking to be back.
This is a very clean and lovely site we was made very welcome from day one easy booking plus they booked our ferry at a discount price worth doing we liked it so much we booked on our final day for next year see you then all .
Lovely woodland setting, great play area for children and plenty of woodland to explore for teenagers a rope swing and woodland lookout. Facilities are first class, shower block and toilets spotless. Good central location to visit island attractions
The most fantastic camp site I've used in 40yrs! Clean is not the word... immaculate. 5*. Lovely pitches, well maintained and beautiful views. Absolute genuine perfection.
