We spent last week camping at Ninham Country Holidays and without a doubt it’s the best site that we’ve stayed at on the Isle of Wight. The staff were very friendly and helpful on checking in and pitching. Our pitch was perfect and there was so much room on it. A very quiet site in an amazing countryside setting, the showers and toilets were spotless clean and the hot water was just right. The tv room and games room were added bonuses and the swimming pool was perfect, a nice sun trap with loads of sun beds and chairs. Some lovely country walks towards Lake or Shanklin are accessible from the site. It really is in a great position for all amenities on the island. We would highly recommend this site and we will certainly be staying here again in the future. 10/10 from me
Beautiful large site with excellent sized pitches - some of which are fully serviced. The situation is ideal for sightseeing. Site is nice and quiet. There is a laundry/ toilets and dish washing facility. Well looked after. Highly recommend. Cycle and walking routes to explore . Supermarket just a short cycle away if you need to stock up.Dog friendly.
Lovely quiet campsite, the ground are very well kept and it feels very rural. The shower facilities are great and you have the bonus of the Swimming pool which is included in the price. For us the only thing that might put us off coming back is that they don't have a communal freezer for ice packs which we normally use for packed lunches. They do hire out ice packs but I think that's a but much for the money they charge
What a beautiful site, swimming pool lovely new toulets and showers, big pitches, well kept. Emily or Emma sorry and Dan running the site were delightful and soo helpful. £59 for two nights, we didnt need hookup. Lidl , morrisons and Aldi 20 minute walk up the bridleway or five minute drive, 15 mins from beach, what a find!
Very nice site. Absolutely huge. Arrived at around 7.45pm. welcome pack outside reception for is. I then met Julie walking around as we were setting up. We booked this site due to facilities that would entertain our 3 children; swimming pool, games room etc. lots of space especially as it's not peak season at the moment. Site very quiet which is nice. Not lots of people here at the moment I expect due to not school holidays yet. You can't buy the weather when camping so only got to use the pool on our last day when weather was shining as pool is heated but must be quite low as still quite chilly. On a hot day it would be very refreshing. So whilst we were using the pool another female member of staff who was gardening told us we shouldn't be using the pool if we had already packed up. As out ferry wasn't until the evening and it was the first nice day of weather we packed up as requested in the morning and thought we would finally make use of facilities that absolutely no one else was using for a couple of hours that we never got to use throughout our stay here. It's a shame these very enforced rules were not flexible on a fairly quiet stay as it left a sour taste.
