Accommodation needs updating, some for the same price are nicer than others but the chalet was clean. The whole large site is kept very clean and the staff are helpful. You can only order meals or even see the menu for the restaurant by downloading their app and didn't like having to walk through an arcade at one entrance to get to it. Very dog friendly.
Awful site, would strongly advise to source accommodation elsewhere. Paid almost £8,000 for three lodges and was treated to a pretty awful week away. We had so many issues when we arrived mainly do to do with the cleanliness of the lodges. The main issue we had was with the water supply. My family all caught sickness at the site and one of the nights we were left without water for over 14 hours. Being in a lodge with no water, my wife being violently ill is a human rights issue! I spoke to the security guard who advised that the water will be on when it's on, fantastic and caring attitude. We had no water on 3 separate occasions and the site manager wasn't even aware of one of them! We were offered no water by the resort so my wife was extremely dehydrated by morning. The manager tried to palm the issue off on southern water but after a quick call to them they confirmed it was an internal issue on site. Possibly had something to do with them plumbing in new bathrooms on the new lodges right behind out lodge, maybe concentrate on your current customers before building more? Our last day we booked to go swimming and guess what ...... no water so the pool was closed! The entertainment was dreadful with my 8 year old asking to go as she was bored, the food is atrocious, the cleanliness of the facilities are appalling and the staff couldn't give a damn. It took almost 3 months to resolve this and that's only down to me loosing the will to live. Within the complaints process I was promised countless calls and was hung up on but a member of staff. I had to contact a director to speed things up as I was getting no where. Honestly please look at alternative resorts, this one is terrible, overpriced and couldn't careless about there customers.
It's a fantastic holiday park, yes we went out of season but the park was still busy. It's very dog friendly with poop bins everywhere and less than 5 minute walk to the beach. The entertainment was good lots for kids to do and special offers on the food as well. All staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful.
Had an amazing holiday here and would love to me back again sometime. The park was well looked after and the hot tub we had was checked daily. Staff was very helpful with some minor issues and was resolved promptly what made it that little bit better was the welcome phone call to make sure we had settled in and that everything was ok.
Hired a chalet for a week in February as a base while visiting relatives. Very reasonable price, clean and tidy dog friendly. If I had to be really picky, the only thing would be a low water pressure on the shower but as there is a bath as well, no big deal. Walking distance to the beach. Food & drinks: The restaurant is reasonably priced and the food was good.
It's cheap and cheerful with all the amenities you need. We're in a campervan but they have caravans, tent pitches and glamping style tents. My only negative comments are that the bar is overpriced and very corporate. The location is superb and has direct access onto the beach. I would happily stay again.
Lovely caravan park with swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Beach is just a short walk from park. Only downside is you need a car to explore the rest of the island. Overall a lovely park and will return next year.
Asked for a disabled lodge and for a care dog. Was put in a lodge furthest away from the car park and had two large steps to get into the lodge. The lodge also had a high bath with a shower over the top which wasn't good for a disabled person, ended having a shower at our friend's. Park was clean and tidy
The chalet was clean and adequate but unfortunately not very disabled friendly as had 2 large steps at the front and the back was a bog because of the rain and no pathway. Also a fair distance from the closest car park.
