Stayed in the private let. House is fab just what we needed. Sadly staff need to make towel hire much clearer! Getting stung for nearly £40 ended our holiday sadly! Wanted to buy own towels but told not to go then get charged. My 4 year old wouldn't need a bath, hand and flannel.

Amazing house but the staff held us to ransom and wouldn't let us leave the site unless we paid £40 for towels we were given. As is often usual, amazing location, amazing house but let down by staff that don't listen. Leaves a bitter taste at the end of a fab holiday.

Stay here regularly, its always immaculately kept. Wardens friendly and helpful. Situated in beautiful countryside.

Pros - Well kept site, spacious plots, modern clean toilet & shower block, staff (some) very accomodating, good kids play area, separate walking for dogs, fish and chip van visits site twice a week, bins are emptied often. Nice location for all attractions. Cons - Staff ride around all day everyday on ride on lawnmowers even if not tending the grass, the noise of which becomes very irritating. Staff (some) are more akin to prison guards than park wardens, rude and abrasive (a few let down the majority but without a doubt the worst I have encountered in CC). Water outlet points are frequently unusable as they have sprinklers plugged into them which (unnecessarily) water the same patch of grass for upwards of 8 hours a day.

Lovely wardens, excellent toilet block,info centre superb. Fish & chips one of the best. Unfortunately no newspapers with a long dangerous walk to shop also very noisy nearly all day with non essential grass & hedge cutting thereby spending time off site to escape the incessant noise.
