We'd always walked past but never come in. This is a nice pub. Very cosy inside. The food was very good, the steak and ale pie is what I had. And I would give it 10/10. What more could you want from a pub? Definitely recommend! Thank you!
Great roast dinner beef was beautifully cooked. Very nice and well worth the money. Chocolate fudge cake and ice cream after stunning.
It was my first visit for Sunday Lunch. The food was excellent, even though it was busy the service was good. Staff excellent. You do need to book! Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal! We plan to go again soon
Great pub and fantastic Sunday dinner. Special thanks to the staff member who went out of her way to seat us when they were fully booked! Top marks!
Not loacal to Rugby, Only been in a few times as my car gets repaired at the local tyre garage, But I will say the food and beer are good, cosy atmosphere and the landlord is spot on remembering my drink months apart .
Great service from everyone, and the steak pies tonight were really, really enjoyed. Highly recommended.
Sunday lunch absolutely delicious and very friendly helpful staff highly recommend also interesting rugby history on the walls x
A classic easy to go to pub with a mix of friendly people who are happy to socialise and chat. I went on a band night there was a vibrant great crowd.
Had Christmas party there last week, food was bad. Pate worse than Aldi, toast for it was thinner than a piece of single ply. Would not recommend
Great pub, good selection of cold beers and ciders, great food with friendly staff, fab service worth a visit
