a large group of us came on rather short notice after a funeral and the staff and kitchen did a great job putting a buffet together for our large group and it was a very nice atmosphere all round; credit especially to the bar man that day who was very friendly and even taught a couple of us how to play a local game which was a nice light hearted end to the day; we are all very greatful for it all
Not having been in here for a good few years, due to its reputation I was pleasantly surprised with how it is now. Very pleasant staff with a warm welcome. Will definitely be back soon.
Fantastic local pub staff were really nice and welcoming definitely call in next time I am close by. Tried one of there breakfast's sausages were amazing

Class service, lovely venue and an absolutely quality breakfast! Couldn’t recommend highly enough!
Sat outside on the terrace, seemed busy, nice and clean. I didn't go to bar, but my drink was nice, plenty of ice and chap behind bar brought my drink out when they had run out of what I was drinking. Dog friendly.
Good proper pub, nice atmosphere and good beer.

Called in for a drink first visit very nice place. Both male members of staff are very pleasant. Start food again mid March, look forward to that. Will call back. Nice area for walking, canals,locks,cafes,woods and of course the pub.
Great pub quiz. Love it here
