Yes the shop is small, but owner very welcoming and you should find something to tickle your fancy, i bought an N gauge railway set and owner offered a discount without being prompted. I'll defo be back. Do yourself a favor and pay a visit.
Visited this nice little model shop last month whilst in Glasgow. Martin, the proprietor, was very friendly and knowledgeable. They've got a decent paint selection Tamiya, Humbrol and Mig, alongside a variety of models of different scales and themes. I saw a fair bunch of model rail accessories too. Recommended when in the West End.
I made a special effort to visit the shop this morning but it wasn’t open until 10.30, I waited and someone opened at nearly 11.00 and then locked the door behind him. So that’s one model shop I won’t be visiting again! Disappointed.
Discovered this gem of a model shop, Small but very well stocked especially if your looking for AFV models. Friendly knowledgeable and highly recommended
This place used to be massive and now it's a tiny shop about the size of a newsagents. The guy who runs it though is very knowledgeable and chatty and helped me no end. All sorts of modelling kits available and the accessories you need Highly recommended
Live in Northern Ireland so only online orders for me! I have ordered on several occasions and had nothing but a positive experience, all of my purchases have been 'Alpine Miniatures' and though people in other reviews keep saying 'small shop' that would not of been my impression as great range of figures and always and fast delivery. Wish you had a shop over here!!
Great wee shop! Owners are so helpful and friendly, they have gave me some great advice on how to get the best from their products. Good selection of kits for the size of the shop and the usual sundries and tools too. These guys are model builders not just hobby shop owners and for me that's how it should be. Great place and I hope they are here in the years to come.
Not good customer service. Poor returns policy. Was quoted the legal jargon as a response from owner as to why they don’t have to accept returns. Don’t offer a credit note either.
It may be wee in size but has plenty of kit that you need. Always has good advice. Website is useful too.
Visited this shop last week. It is a very small shop but its full of quality products. I bought a 1:72 Kit and some suppliers. Good price, great service, and advice.
