Absolutely wonderful supermarket with the freshest foods I’ve ever seen. So many tempting options as you walk through the shop and see fresh pizza, freshly baked bread, pastries and cakes, ready made food, salads & hot meals. I can’t afford to shop here often and don’t live in the area, but it is worth the trip every now and then, especially if I find myself in the Kensington area. There are also many local, ethical and high quality brands you won’t find elsewhere.
Quality nFruit n veg, meat, fish, meals looked dry, discoloured and old.nIt freaked me out seeing mountains of food stacked up expiring on the day of visit - at 9pm. Do they throw them all away or put a sticker with the new expiry date !? nnAgainst all my gut instinct, I tried their sushi - and it was bad.nnAmbience nDownstairs reek of urine, near the loo nnRange nThere is nothing they stock you can't find in other places for cheaper.nnI love the Whole Foods stores in the US, the magic isn’t here in London.nPlanet organic does this better or Notting Hill Fish + meat shop - where the food and veg there are all insanely fresh and delicious.
This isn’t a shop, this is a whole experience. A day out! Stocking the biggest kombucha selection in the U.K.! Only the best brands. Lots of free samples and friendly people!
Whole Foods Market is a standout supermarket that sets the bar high with its emphasis on fresh, organic produce and impeccable cleanliness. Every visit to Whole Foods is a delightful experience, and I often find myself traveling from afar just to shop here, despite it not being my local supermarket. The quality and variety available make it well worth the trip.nnOne of the major highlights of Whole Foods is its extensive selection of fresh, organic produce. The fruits and vegetables are always vibrant and flavorful, a testament to their commitment to providing top-quality, health-conscious options. This dedication to organic offerings is evident throughout the store, which is meticulously clean and well-organized, making shopping both pleasant and efficient.nnThe fresh food buffets at Whole Foods are another attraction that keeps me coming back. The variety of hot and cold dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients, caters to a range of tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're looking for a quick, healthy meal or something more indulgent, the buffets are consistently well-stocked and inviting.nnAdding to the appeal is the coffee and bakery section. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bakery offers an impressive array of breads, pastries, and desserts, all of which are as delicious as they are fresh.nnBeyond the essentials, Whole Foods also carries a unique selection of toiletries, candles, sage, and incense, allowing shoppers to find holistic and lifestyle products that enhance their overall well-being. This comprehensive range of high-quality products, coupled with the store’s pristine environment, sets Whole Foods apart from other supermarkets.nnIn summary, Whole Foods Market is the best supermarket I have ever visited. Its commitment to quality, cleanliness, and variety makes it a highly recommended shopping destination. If you appreciate top-notch organic produce and a superior shopping experience, Whole Foods is definitely worth the journey.
I have been to other locations of Whole foods market and I would prefer this one as it's much bigger with many more choices. I like that you can find some of the local London independent brands which offer good quality though quite expensive indeed. Love its hot food counters and previously tried some of the food like meatballs which were very tasty. This time I had these chicken pesto ciabatta which was nice too. The ciabatta was soft and not dry. The price for this was reasonable.
