Lots of great deals throughout the store.nCheap vegetables, halal shamans chicken, dairy, snacks, frozen fish and meats, ready meal food.nnThere were plenty of staff on the shop floor, it's a shame the tills weren't all manned, we had to wait for ages and I was in a rush, otherwise I would have given them a 5 star rating.nnAlso, there's no special buy aisles in this branch, so don't come looking for them
Daniel was quite rude, mocked me and also laughed - whether he was having a bad day at work or not he should not have treated me the way he did. He mentioned my ID was not valid as it was a picture version in which I understood procedure yet contradicting his own words by saying “I know you’re over 16 so I’ll give it to you anyway” this being a packet of Paracetamol that was 37p I mentioned if the ID isn’t valid there’s no point arguing remove it from the transaction - yet going back and forth with “it’s not valid” had me leaving the store quite upset, having been a resident in the area for 26years this is NOT what I had expected from a local shop that I often visit.nnPeople should be accountable for their OWN behaviours - especially in Customer Service.
I've been shopping here since it opened. It has pretty much all you need and would expect.nnIt's not the biggest store, it does not have 'special buy' aisles unfortunately but should have most other things you are looking for. If not, there is a Sainsbury's 30 seconds away where you could pick up anything not found here.nnIf doing a big shop I would recommend quieter times such as closer to store opening or closing times as there are limited numbers of trolleys and you don't really want to lug around baskets.nnStaff are friendly and have been helpful. As with all Aldi's the checkout staff are always trying to beat their personal best for how quick they can scan items, just politely ask them to slow down and they will.nnParking is free for 2 to 3 hours, can't recall, check signs.nnThe store is located in a retail park with other stores nearby such as Sainsbury's, TK Maxx, Sports Direct, Homebase, Subway, Costa, Poundland, Superdrugs.
Staff are great and recognise us locals. Customer service is a million, billion times better than the awful Sainsbury's next door. Prices are obviously better too.
I usually do my weekly shopping at that ALDI, and there's always everything I need, and everything is very organized and clean. Victoria, is lovely and hardworking; she deserves the best.
