Poor customer service and the girl who wearing a glass was so rude to me I was trying to buy 2 boxes of baby nappies but she didn't let me take them and she did not want to explain the reason why I could not have them, even though I had two boxes in other stores before I came from a very long way to this Aldi, never go there again..
There's no aisles of doom, ie no special buys. It is crowded and has weird stock gaps, and the prices seem higher than my local store in north London. Still cheaper than M&S next door so not complaining
Our preferred everyday grocery store in the area.nThe prices are generally competitive and the quality of their in-house brands is often even better than the big name brands.nThe store is usually packed during peak times, but the line moves briskly.
This Aldi feels a bit smaller but stocked OK. Had all the essentials.nnOnly self checkout tills here, staff are OK, not the best.nnSecurity guard was OK, but the staff also try acting like security and can be a bit much when your just doing a normal quick shop. Maybe it's the area but they seem very sus of everyone. Wierd energy.
The main items you can get here for cheap are bakery and household cleaning. I am not that sure the rest of the shop is as cheap as it allegedly is.nnYou can find mysterious brands / second brands for everything yep but that’s why is cheaper. There are massive queues most of the time, staff is organised but it gets me thinking what’s the hype for this store whatsoever
