Have always had an excellent experience here!! The staff are so welcoming- young man behind the bar, always finds the time to have a chat, waitress very polite and helpful. The food is also extremely tasty and perfectly cooked, never had a bad meal here. Thank you and my favourites fillet steak which was delicious and the seafood lasagna my favourite.
Was staying in a hotel just outside of Norwich and didn’t want to have to drive back in and park for a good meal so we did some searching and found The White Horse. We are so glad we decided to visit as it was delicious! The service was impeccable and the food was lovely. The interior is very cosy and full of lots of old fashioned trinkets and electronics. My only disappointment was that we didn’t stay for pudding! The menu has so much to offer and the specials all sounded amazing. There’s something for everyone here.
We managed to get a last minute table for Sunday lunch. What a treat! Lovely food, well cooked and presented, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere made this a really pleasant experience. My friend had the grilled skate special and really raved about it! Definitely worth a visit, well done The White Horse team.
Great lunch, very busy for a Monday lunchtime. We both had burgers. Proper handmade burger and chunky chips. Great service, well worth a visit. Good idea to book.Service: 5/5
We haven't been to this pub for a while and were disappointed to find that the menu had been greatly reduced. The food that we had was good but we would have preferred a wider choice. We did discover a specials board after we'd eaten, but were not told about it before.although it was quiet, the staff did not seem interested in serving us, what a shame.
Excellent food best pub food this week in Norfolk with a good selection for vegetarian’s and a good choice of drinks. Will be back with the dogs in July!!!! Well done.
The White Horse is a lovely little pub. The food is exceptional. Home cooked. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family.
Absolutely lovely. Very nice reception from staff on arrival, seated immediately, with somewhere to put my sleeping son. Overall service was excellent, it has a real local, family-run pub feel. The food was amazing. We had a fillet steak, and it was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, everything tasted freshly prepared that day, and we weren't left waiting at all. I'd expect all of the food to be to this standard as my children's meals were at the same standard. The setting is lovely, can't say enough positive about it, so I've put some pics on. I didn't take any of the food, bevause I'd strongly advise you go and see for yourself if you’re nearby.
Lovely spot on the way to Norwich, came across this place completely by accident but ended up having one of the nicest lunches in a while!! Excellent service and value for money, would entirely recommend
Stopped in for winter warm up, had venison casserole which was fantastic. Service was excellent. Great pub. Food & drinks: Excellent menu, friendly staff
