Dog friendly pub. All the dogs that were there, were well behaved and we love dogs so was lovely to be around them. There is lots of seating so if your not a fan best to inform the staff on arrival. Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for our main meals. We were given our starter and drinks and then forgotten about until we had to ask the staff where are food was. We were given a round of drinks for free as an apology but when your hungry you just want your food. However once we got our food it was incredible!
Brilliant, the food was great and the festive menu was well worth it. You can bring dogs in here so that was nice. There was a lovely fire in the grate. Delicious zero alcohol cocktails too!
Had a lovely time here with my wife but felt it wasn’t quite a 5 star place. The starter was amazing fantastic flavour and presentation would recommend to everyone to try the lamb koftas. The main was a bit of a let down presentation was like a school dinner and was just a bit sloppy signature burger. Finally the desert was amazing again the brownies where just great. I would go again but I’d personally stay away from the burger menu section. Staff where fantastic
Nice atmosphere inside the pub, food was average but the chips were very good, staff were friendly however need to be trained more. Overall good
Delicious roast! Nearly had an all you can eat carvery, so glad we came here instead! Succulent meat, perfectly cooked vegetables, crispy potatoes & homemade Yorkshire

Service was great, served by Zoe, both myself and partner had Roast Beef, was fantastic and very filling, definitely reccomend, price was good too
We have passed by here many times without stopping, but yesterday we finally did and I would say it was a good choice. Jennifer greeted us with a smile and, even though we had not booked, she immediately made herself available to find us a table. we ordered two Sunday Roasts, accompanied by local beer and cider. all very good, fair portions and honest prices. we will definitely be back.
Excellent food. I definitely recommend it.OMG it was amazing. I had the signature burger. The best burger I’ve had in my life. Very good portions, very good produce and very good value for money definitely a 5* rating from me.The place is so lovely, warm and welcoming. The best place you can choose to have a nice meal, a glass of wine and the warmth of the lovely chimney.Well done to you all. Definitely I will return. Thank you for the great experience.
Had lunch yesterday, booked online, so easy. Greeted on entry and shown to table polite and efficient. Ordered drinks, then ordered main meals for 3 people had sticky chicken starter which was really good wife had chips with hers making it her main meal, I had beef sandwich which was superb. Daughter had a wrap as vegetarian with chips , really enjoyed , We also took the option for mini pudding and drink, only disappointing thing was the size of the cremebule misspelled no more than a eggcup!! Overall I would highly recommend to all.
