Nice pub, right opposite the cathedral. Great selection of beers and spirits. Very friendly and welcoming staff with nice atmosphere. Huge outside area for warmer nights! Ty the barman was extremely knowledgeable about all the beers on offer and made our evening far more enjoyable.nOur room was spacious and bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast the next morning large and tasty! Highly recommended
Came here for the first time for a weekend away and was really impressed. Great location right across from the cathedral, nice food and drinks available and the staff were lovely. We particularly enjoyed the live jazz music night in the bar. Will definitely be back if we visit Wells again!
Beautiful place to stay just back from there today we stayed for 2 nights and the room was beautiful and the beds were very comfy . Right across the road from the cathedral. Staff were very friendly overall very happy and would definitely stay here again . Welcome for all ages we are in our 20's and and 30's and would definitely stay here again .
Excellent value. Sure, the rooms aren't 5 star, but was clean, comfortable, and a good shower. Breakfast was excellent, and staff were all helpful and polite. And right across the road from the Cathedral. And if you're interested in beer, they had a great selection of beers ! Would definitely stay here again.
Popped in for lunch and a pint. The selection of ale, lager, cider is amazing. Gins, vodka too.nnLively atmosphere, lovely rustic barnFood was reasonably priced and good portion size.nBar staff friendly. All in all a great pub and worth a visit.
