Mixed opinions. Don’t go on a Monday. They close up early to clean the kitchen and don’t advertise the fact online. Rant over. But I drove a long way on my bike to use my Tesco vouchers. However the staff were apologetic and lovely. They let me order a take out. Which I enjoyed in the drizzy outside. The Manzo Piccante was delicious.
We had a group booking 29 of us. We had a brilliant evening. We had completed a pre-order. The service was very efficient and the food was excellent. Great atmosphere. Well done Peter and Dan Dietary restrictions: Great vegan and gluten free options
Lovely food! Our server Pete was wonderful! However fellow neurodivergent folk, best to go at a less busy time than a Saturday night, as it was rather loud.Food: 4/5
I attended Ask on Saturday night for my Grandma’s 85th birthday with a table of 8. Adina was extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. She went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our visit. Thank you so much!Food: 5/5
I can't speak more highly about my first visit to the Wells ASK. The food was exceptional, including the vegan and gluten free pizza. The service was exceptional: friendly and accommodating. The ramp up into the restaurant was a bit too steep for my wife's powered chair, but was otherwise great from an accessible perspective. Fab! Vegetarian options: Good selection, and good vegan stuff too. Dietary restrictions: Allergens menu available. Good range of gluten free options. Wheelchair accessibility: Good, but the ramp is a bit short, steep and abrupt... So depends a little on your stability.
Peter and John our servers were fantastic. On a busy night they were able to find us a quieter area, as my daughter was becoming overwhelmed with the noise. Their attitude was both professional and friendly, thanking time to make her and us feel at ease. The food was lovely and the premises was very clean and well laid out. Dietary restrictions: They take allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously and offer good alternatives We felt very safe in our choices
Restaurant was quiet when we arrived and able to get a table easily. Wonderful vegan menu. Well presented and flavoursome. Server was polite and friendly. Restaurant became extremely busy and there were only 3 servers. This did not affect the quality of the service at all. I was very impressed.Food: 5/5
Just terrible customer service. I’ve come here for lunch twice recently and both times the server has been outright rude and uncaring. My recent visit I asked for a latte with oat milk, as the menu said oat milk was an option. The server told me they didn’t do oat milk, and when I pointed to the menu that states oat milk, she didn’t even bother to look and made me feel stupid for asking, just staring at me and repeating that they don’t do it. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable, and we were seated millimetres away from another party despite the entire floor being empty. The food is good, although often requires some extra salt The only thing that massively appeals is the lack of other options and the occasional free treat offered every month. The inside is decorated beautifully and I appreciate the music. Improve the customer service dramatically please!
Enjoyed a nice meal today, the service I had to say was spot on, apologies I didn’t catch the young chaps name who served us very tall however he was fast, polite and friendly, really refreshing in terms of quality customer service - well done!Food: 4/5
First visit to Wells and Ask Italian. Really loved the decor and view of Wells Cathedral amazing! Food was great and our server, Peter, was excellent. Made for a lovely evening with friends and would definitely recommend a visit.Food: 5/5
