Fantastic hotel steeped in great history! The narrow, winding stairs to our room added to the charm of the hotel. The view of the cathedral is stunning. The staff are extremely friendly and willing to help out. They even let our dog out one evening while we were at a wedding!

Very beautiful hotel. Very close to wells cathedral beautiful views. .staff very helpful and very welcoming. .so in the heart of wells ..rooms are lovely very well kept. Food fantastic. .10 out of 10 in every way

The restaurant was great. Superb service tailored to individual allergy needs. Food excellent , lovely flavours and wide choice of dishes.

I would stay here again without hesitation, we stayed in room 2, comfortable bed, nice shower, tea and coffee in the room, not a large room but ample. Very attentive polite and professional members of staff, and we enjoyed the breakfast and the in house restaurant dinner very much.

Rugantinos, the Italian restaurant located inside of the hotel is superb!. The atmosphere is buzzing and great, the staff are also friendly and helpful. The food was just amazing - the best food we've had in Wells by far. Loved the food, the wine and the venue. The view of the Cathedral is also a massive bonus. We highly recommend it.
