Tucked into the medieval streets of the City of Wells, a warm welcome awaits visitors and locals alike at Goodfellows Restaurant and Café.

Adam Fellows first opened this stunning enterprise alongside his wife Martine in 2004. Inspired by his training in some of the most influential restaurants across Europe, Adam takes the essence of Mediterranean cuisine and cleverly combines this with the best West Country produce.

Adam’s passion for fish is renowned and Goodfellows specialises in seafood dishes. The fish comes mainly from day boats off the coast of Devon and Cornwall and is cooked inventively, enhancing the natural flavours of the fish without over-complicating them. The menu also incorporates an impressive range of meat and vegetarian dishes that reflect the flavours of Europe.

By day, Goodfellows offers a continental café inspired culture with a variety of dishes to tempt the lunchtime diner. The lunchtime menu also includes the tasting menu, perfect for that special occasion.

By night, Goodfellows offers a more classical Restaurant approach with a range of dishes from the Market menu to a six course tasting menu which showcases some of Adam’s favourite dishes.
