Wonderful hotel. Very comfortable and great food. Mark and staff very helpful. Please note being an old building there are many stairs and no lift. Staff are pleased to help you to and from your room. Also limited parking on a first come first serve basis. Access to parking is via a very limited access route. Do not use if you cannot reverse. Manager will help you out

Very nice hotel, parts of it dating to the 15th century but clean and modern but interesting inside. Very comfortable. Lovely bed! Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Wonderful location, amazing old building with usual problems for disabled access so they have some adapted rooms in the Coach House which work well. Breakfast was Best Western standard so nothing special but had expensive option.

Lovely and gorgeous! It's a bit of a maze of little buildings, but they are all really nice. The function area which doubles up as a cafe is very nice, and the staff are very helpful with getting all setup.

Really lovely hotel set in the heart of the city of Wells. The rooms have been updated since a previous stay and are now all contemporary in style with all the mod cons you'd expect in a four star hotel. The restaurant is good, but is small for a hotel of this size, so you need to make reservations to secure a table. That said, bar meals are available in the bar and lounge, plus there's plenty of outside seating available when the weather permits. It's a brilliant spot for exploring Wells and visiting the cathedral and the friendly hotel cat provides a warm welcome!
