Gallery Plus is also home to the working studio of contemporary artist Trevor Woods, where visitors can watch him at work; they can see the initial drawings and the various stages that go into producing a painting.
Trevor became a professional artist in 2004, and has always had a fascination with painting, good design, and particularly architecture. He has developed a distinctive, graphic style and the skill of breaking down what he sees in everyday life into shapes and bold colours. His paintings depict instantly recognisable scenes without the everyday clutter. Trevor’s style is always developing, and recently some of his paintings have become more abstract, featuring flat areas of colour, broken up with richly painted texture and lines.
Living and working on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast means Trevor is provided with endless inspiration, from the myriad boats, to the iconic buildings. Where ever he goes he absorbs his surroundings, and this includes his other sources of painting inspiration; London and Italy. His work has been purchased and collected worldwide, and he also has a growing loyal following closer to home.
