We like this pup a lot. The food is cooked very well and there is always a good menu. It's worth booking as it often busy, which is a good sign to me. We run a local trout fishery and this is a recommended establishment.
We've had the pleasure of eating at The Wheelwrights Arms a number of times and we've thoroughly enjoyed each meal currently, my favourite spot for a Sunday Roast. I really cant understand those that complain about the price. The food is locally sourced and fresh and the portions quite large. And the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We are incredibly lucky, living in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. We are surrounded by lots of great pubs and restaurants mostly chain's. Personally, I'd rather get in the car and drive to the Wheelwrights Arms for well cooked, home made food. This pub sits alongside the Kentish Hare which has won a few prizes as one of my favourite places to eat. Keep up the good work!
A great find. The deep fried whitebait was the best I have ever had. The batter on the fish was also amazing. Looking forward to going back. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
