We had dinner after an exhausting trip to London. The food was fantastic, the service was fast and great. My little 3 year old was catered for with the kids menu, however the portion size was a bit much, so if you have a young child under 5, might be worth asking for a smaller portion size. Food & drinks: Fantastic
I was excited about visiting as it looks lovely from the road. The menu appeals if you like a chunky pie or fish and chips. Personally, I would have loved a fresh fish alternative. Staff were very young but were not engaged with customers. Not cheap.
Always enjoy the food here and the service is great. The manager is always helpful and willing to assist with anything. The only thing we found this time was that the menu has been reduced, especially the puddings. More choice of puddings please.Service: 5/5
We came here last night for dinner and was quite disappointed with the change in menu, not a huge amount of choice in comparison to the previous menu. Despite what it says on the online menu, the steak and ale suet pudding has gone which I can’t understand. The food we had was delicious though. The service was great and an overall friendly environment. Just please bring back the steak and ale suet pudding!
Food is always very good. Service can get a bit slow, but mostly because it's usually very busy. However, that doesn't affect the atmosphere negatively as the tables are sufficiently spaced out. This has become our lunch venue of choice to take clients or for work celebratory lunches. Haven't stayed there though.
Had lunch here on 7th March food was top notch. Cooked to perfection we both had the haddock and chips presentation was also first class. We followed with coffee as the portions were huge and I can say it was the best Oat Latte I've ever had. The waitress was exceptional smiling and extremely friendly and knowledgeable on the work undertaken and to be undertaken on the bar /restaurant area. If I could give 6 stars I would
This is our new 'local' pub and we're very happy with it, the food and the service is really-really nice. We just moved to North Tonbridge from the other end of town and it's great that there is a nice pub within walking distance.
Beautiful pub. Attended on a Sunday for a roast, it was beautiful and lovely service. Attended for a 2nd time today 17:42 with our 8 wekk old and 2 yr old and got some very flakey service from the staff. Was really made to feel unwelcome. There was a very unsavoury atmosphere with the 2 female staff working the bar. Short/sharp responses and long moments of awkward silence. Unlikely to attend again and would not recommend bringing kids here as the general feeling is they don't want you.
We came here specifically because the Sunday roast sounded amazing and we weren't disappointed. The food was great and the service was absolutely on point. Will definitely be coming back here in the future!
Didn't stay here but the restaurant food is good. 3 stars because they shouldn't be charging £ 40 for a bottle of rubbish red wine.
