I did not stay here but I hired the free function room for a friends birthday, the staff was friendly, caring and attentive, the decor was rustic, cosy and homely, I never have felt so welcomed in a pub before by all there and look forward to visiting again :Service: 5/5
Very comfy pub. Our room was so small that we had to roll one of the beds around to access the bathroom or then get out the room. It was overall very clean.Rooms: 2/5
Accommodation above an Old world pub. Functional and value for your £, air con in your room with a really tasty breakfast and attentive warm staff. Located in a nice square where there are many shops and eateries Central to the town itself, and prices are value but to dated for our tastes. Limited car parking at £5 per day a two minute walk away and first come first available space Small shower room and really tight shower cubical but this is dictated by the age of the building and size of the room Would I return? No I prefer spacious modern rooms with better facilities. Staff 4* hotel 2*
Fabulous staff, couldn't do enough for us, good breakfast, great beers, rooms quite small but very clean and tidy, great value for money, central location and easy access to rest of island, we will definitely be back, thanks for a lovely weekendRooms: 4/5

Stayed here from the 1st to 3rd September with our grandson. We was greeted by Sophie, who was very polite. She was cheerful and a great member of staff, as the first person we met.We was never asked for card details, as someone stated in another post. Our room was spacious with both a bath and shower. The breakfast was a choice of both cold and hot food. The staff was always polite and nothing was to much trouble. There is parking opposite, but this is locked up between 2000 and 0700, which suits most people, but there is parking within a few minutes walk. You can unload your luggage before parking. Will definitely be going back.
Arrogant staff, awful service, very narrow room which is hard to fit for couple. Staff are very unprofessional, rudely spoken with zero hospitality knowledge. Don't recommend this old rooms above noisy pubs.Rooms: 1/5
They had a very clean room and vintage style space to dwell for a night. But we had a terrible time with the house keeping ladies. They started swearing at us for no reasons and was very rude. Will never ever visit that place just because of those 4 fierce ladies. Totally ruined our holiday mood. Will never suggest to anyone else.Rooms: 1/5
