Rude management, reduced menu due to the heat.. informed this is national. Believe me it isn't because I phoned and checked other establishments in the wetherspoons brand. Dirty tables left for our entire stay of over 2hrs. Toilets are filthy. No one has cleaned the outside seating area in what seems like an eternity. Would give no stars but it won't let me.
Warm and accommodatingm staff are attentive and usually quick. The price is equal to whta you get. As far as weatherspoons go, it's good. The lower rating is because they don't always have everything in stock, it's not rare for them to tell you to choose a different item from the menu. I'm not sure if this is in their control or not so hold no resentment :
I ordered an American Cheese Burger but when my order arrived it had no cheese, I requested a change actually just the slice of cheese when it arrived I was given a slice of cheese you can buy in the local supermarket 15 slices for 70p. Proper ripe off. Not even American Cheese. Cost the cheese if added to the burger nearly 50p. The moral of this story bring your own cheese.
Nice and clean. Friendly staff. We had managers special meal and it was really good. Great outdoor seating areas for sunny days. And last but not least a good pint at a very reasonable price. Well worth a visit.
8 plates for £35 great value, quick and friendly service. nice layout with booths, tables, netted non-smoking terrace and outdoor smoking area with seating. Pay and display parking within 3mins walk albeit up steep hill
I use spoons a lot but this is not best one tbh. Fire is never lit?! Rads rare to be on. Is cold often then.... Always forget our mango chutney for curry!! :- 4/10 my score Shame because when done well spoons are good.... Tavistock best in south west we have found.... 7-8/10 on that one.
Really good breakfast. Would have given 5 stars but there was not chocolate in the hot drinks machine. The black coffee was OK but wasn't what I actually wanted. Still no real problem and all was well. Enjoy
We came in with the family for a birthday meal. We all ordered and it all came out cold so we took it back. We waited longer for it to come back after being wormed up. Still not happy. But when it came back it was completey the wrong meal. And when the right meal came out it was still cold. I will be getting my money back.
The food was very good, nice quality ingredients! Lovely staff. Would definitely go there again.
Very nice and new Wetherspoons pub since early 2018 or so. Decent and good value food served as always with Wetherspoons, friendly staff & a good range of drinks, including real ales. Excellent facilities as far as WiFi reception & electrical points in the dual seated compartments here are concerned for mobile phone or tablet purposes also.
