Under new management. Friendly place and good beer. I suspect some of the comments from before were from disgruntled locals. Been using the pub for 15 years. It's had ups and downs but never as bad as projected in some of these comments

Popped in for a pint with a visiting friend, the beer was nice enough and the pub not overly busy.  I'd pop in again if hunting a drink!
