Booked this pub for a meal with family whilst on holiday in Cornwall for a wedding. Nice little pub with character. Welcoming staff. Really friendly waitress. Good food. Would recommend and visit again. Thanks

Nice little pub with ample parking. Nice atmosphere, cosy is the word, if it got too busy I could see you might be in a struggle to get to the bar! Website isn't the greatest for info as it says food is served all day...but it isn't. Got there Sunday about 4pm and we were told the kitchen opens at 6, which was fine but wish we had known before we took the drive out there. Other than that it was great. I imagine it would be a fantastic place in the summer!

This was booked by my stepdaughter for Mothering Sunday for a party of nine. At the time of booking, you informed her that you could cater for my wheat/gluten intolerance. I ordered a turkey roast. When my lunch came it had a Yorkshire pudding placed on the meat, I asked if this was gluten free, my lunch was duly removed as this needed to be checked by the kitchen, same lunch returned minus Yorkshire on meat (cross contamination???).! I asked for gluten free gravy, our waitress said "I'll check with the kitchen", she then returned with what can only be described as hot water with bits in.....and not particularly flavoursome...! This added to what was, at best, an average roast dinner didn't fill me with much enthusiasm to eat it. I worked in your industry for 20+ years and have eaten from takeaway to Michelin starred food. Please, if you say you can cater for an intolerance or any special dietary requirements then maybe make more of an effort, there is a whole raft of produce out there nowadays for all intolerance's. Because as I'm sure you’re aware you’re only as good as your last meal and in my opinion this wasn't anywhere close to acceptable. Hopefully you will find this helpful with regard to moving forward with your new ish venture....

Lovely atmospheric pub. We didn't try the food. Great fire. Landlady not the most welcoming.
