Doctor has just been out to see me sorry I carnt remember his name. Lovely bed side manner really gave me a good examination very caring doctor I do hope he stays with our surgery.
I moved to this practice after moving to the area 2 years ago. I can not fault them at all. Everyone I have spoken to and seen have been absolutely professional and courteous. I can believe the difference to my previous surgery in Crosby. I have had a few medical complaints, and they have been dealt with promptly, and swiftly. Thank you
I just moved to the area and this clinic and staff so far have been great. Compared to my previous GP the reception answers phone calls and they sorted out my missing repeated prescription on the spot.
There is one receptionist that is infamous in Maghull for being a rude, disrespectful and patronising woman who works here. Why she works for the voice of health care I don’t know, and her employer should really reassess her job role, or at least provide training to be more friendly. Wouldn’t give me a prescription for my sick grandmother, medication she has never had trouble with collecting before. After ringing the walk-in centre and speaking to other doctors, I found that they were laughing at Maghull surgery and told me how pathetic it’s service is. This is coming from professional doctors!! I got my prescription elsewhere.
Couldn’t thank the team enough.nBeing 35 weeks pregnant I was being passed from pillar to post from my hospitals maternity ward and a&e, I was at my wits end and decided to call westway unsure what they could do but it was worth a try.nDr Dowman and Dr Killough we’re both amazing, they listened to me and made me feel heard, they helped me immensely- giving me antibiotics which have actually worked, and took the time to call my maternity ward and get them to listen and actually help without palming me off.nnI will forever be thankful and recommend the surgery to anyone in the maghull area, absolutely fantastic.
