I have never met a Dr as rude as Dr Walker. Had my appointment and wanted to speak about a few concerns. She interrupted me half way through asking if it was an emergency as she was busy with covid and Strep A Cases. I was actually lost for words I was there for my appointment and felt like I was wasting her time, that i shouldn't be there and felt i was talked down too. I'm afraid if she doesn't want to be there or cant handle the demands of the job why become a doctor. I felt that embarrassed I couldn't wait to get out with my 2 sons, what way is that to speak to a patient and what a poor example to set infront of my sons. I have been registered in this doctors for more that 11 year and this has made me move to another practice where the doctors are more sympathetic and understanding
II would like to say a massive thanks to Dr Jodie Douglas- one of the most understanding, kind and professional GPs I've met- also the wonderful reception staff, especially Jill who could not have been more helpful- EXCELLENT PRACTICE- be proud of yourselves you do a superb job
First of all the doctors, awesome. The lady I had was super fun to chat with and really full of energy and a very lovely lady to be around. The waiting time however, not so much. If you get reffered from your GP to come here, expect to be seen very late. I waited upto 45 mins for mine whilst grandma and grandpa got seen literally as they walked in. Infact, I bet if you walked in with a walking stick and white hair, you'd be seen and cured of all your alements before you can lift your hand to say bingo
Amazing surgery. Receptionists very pleasant and welcoming. Doctors are great, giving feedback, advice and reassurance. So glad I am a patient there.
We've only been with the practice a couple of months. We moved as I needed urgent care and wasn't getting anywhere with our last GP. Greenbank have been brilliant, caring, efficient and polite to a fault. I'm being looked after by a great team and by Aintree staff too, but the Greenbank team have been brilliat. It's amazing that they have all been able to help me so quickly under such strained circumstances, it has taken so much worry off us!
The doctors, nurse and all of the reception staff are amazing....they are NEVER rude. I have attended this surgery for many years and have only experienced good. No appointment neccessary, turn up and you will be seen that day. If you arrive early or later on, the wait is a short one. At peak hours it can be a wait in there...but the waiting room provides magazines, a tv, childrens toys etc. I recommend it to everyone. 5*****
The appointment system at this surgery is ridiculous, as you can’t actually make an appointment you just have to arrive and put your name on a list and wait. You can wait for up to 3 hours and doesn’t seem a great way to get patients seen. Another thing I have noticed is that although doctors are supposed to start surgery at 9am, a few of them can be seen dashing in at 910 and running to their consulting rooms. I actually left the surgery today after waiting for over an hour with 15-20 people still ahead of me and 3 doctors available. If you are considering this surgery I’d think again
Always had incredible service and care from all the staff.
It's possible to choose which doctor to see, by arriving early enough. You can see a doctor the same day you need one; this is why I like this practice so much, I've been a patient here since 1981 and I wouldn't dream of going to a place where I have to make appointments. I chose this surgery because of the no-appointment system. I've heard plenty of horror stories from other people who struggle to see a doctor, let alone to see the one they want. Sometimes it's a long wait, but you always see a doctor on the day you need them.
If you want a GP with an appointment based system then this is not the GP for you however the fact that this one isn't means that you will see a doctor when you go, although you will have to wait in the queue. I prefer this system as have had problems elsewhere when appointments are booked up for months and 'emergency' on the day appointments are hard to get
