Prescot Medical Centre

Everyone is always very helpful. Whilst pre-bookable appointments are a week to 2 weeks in the future (like most gp's at present) there are on the day appointments and you are offered GP extra (unlike some other surgerys). I have only met 1 gp that I was not keen on but the rest seem lovely.

Great when you can get an appointment but meant to open at 8 and at 8.30 the phone line is still saying sorry for being closed!

Getting an appointment is a nightmare. I waited weeks to get an appointment. I work a 9-5 weekday job so had to book a day off to get an appointment. Only to be called on the day of appointment to be told the doctor can't make it because she's ill. They did manage to give me another appointment later in the day but it's not very nice to have to rearrange your entire day and lose a day's pay just to see a doctor. I'm sure the surgery is doing the best they can but I'm currently not pleased with the experiences I've had.
