Turned up and allocated a sherwood lodge, horrified as hadn't been cleaned dirty towels still in lodge, dishwasher full. Was upgraded but still issues no trays/dishes for the oven, no kitchen bin No heating in the bathroom Some sockets in lounge don't work Bedroom furniture falling apart in places this is suppose to be a luxury lodge and certainly not.

Stayed here for a week, staff friendly and welcoming when we arrived , cabin clean and spacious , peaceful place , planes from nearby airport never bothered us too much was quite entertaining watching them fly over and got used to noise after first day . Hot tub was amazing kids loved it here . Very central base for easy access to places to visit . Would stay here again

Issues included: - No Wifi, you had to be in the horrible reception building to use it - No cold running water in the kitchen, tap was broken, they "fixed" it several times which lasted all of about 15mins. Said they'd get it replaced, didn't. - Broken dishwasher, didn't clean anything. - No patio doors from living area to decking, had to walk around the building to get to the decking. - Feeble shower, like the worst shower I've ever used, by far - Boiler fault, was fixed but takes a large amount of time to find staff - Aeroplane noise, probably should warn people about this, we had our baby with us, great fun waking her up every night. - In need of repairs/refurb, really ugly, peeling wall paper, broken fixtures, nothing like the picture. - Low standard of cleanliness, hope you like dead insects and dust - No remote for the TV, good luck relaxing in front of the TV - Dangerous kerb (and poor roads on site generally) careful with your car, scraped ours badly, and was told it was like the 6th time it had happened this year. - Bedroom door didn't close, not great if you are multiple couples sharing! We paid £435 for this ‘luxury’ holiday, using a full week of our limited annual leave from work to spend this time together as a family, so we were absolutely gutted with our experience.

Stayed here 4 nights in V.I.P lodge.. the furniture and decor where cheap and dated. These lodges could be fantastic with a little T.L.C. and upgrade furniture. The hot tub was fab but after couple days water gets easily dirty with kids going in and out. The lodge is very spacious and clean enough surrounding area quiet some overhead noise from airport but didn't bother us at all. Great Base or great to just get some peace and quiet for few days.
