My partner and I go regularly to the Admiral Rodney pub in hartshorne. It's a great pub and awesome atmosphere. It's has a great selection of beers and ales and so on. The owners Kevin and Lesley are amazing and have done amazing job since they took over. I would highly recommend this pub.

Cosy pub on the edge of the cricket ground. Doggy friendly outside seating. They didn't take cards last time I was there.
