Today, the staff didn't arrive on site until approximately 9:30 a.m., despite the scheduled opening time being 9:00 a.m. Consequently, a queue of people formed, extending beyond the entrance of the establishment. Lately, it appears that conditions in this location have deteriorated further, exacerbating an already existing problem. The corruption and lack of professionalism within the Royal Mail have been widely discussed, and it raises the question of how much worse things will have to become before we collectively decide that we've had enough. It's important to acknowledge that individuals typically visit the post office for business purposes rather than for leisure, leaving them with no alternative but to endure these circumstances. The mismanagement of funds over an extended period has resulted in the branches operating without the efficiency and seriousness that would be expected from a business. This situation is being treated rather lightly, almost as if it were a joke. It’s not acceptable for places like banks and post offices to open late and operate unprofessionally.
Team are polite, kind, efficient and calm even when there are queues and sometimes tricky customers. I regularly use them to send parcels and they always advise most cost effective/fastest options. I also use them for currency exchange and they are great. I can’t understand why people have given such bad reviews, it’s a really valuable local post office and we’d be very sorry not to have it.
Renewal of passport and drivers licence was done quickly and efficiently including taking photos without an appointment and for a very modest fee. Highly recommended this service

Not sure why it's gotten such bad reviews. The staff are very nice and you can tell they work tirelessly and have to put up with a lot. I guess it comes with the type of area this is as we can see from the reviews. I have nothing bad to say about the service I've received from here countless of times.
I dont think this place safe to make transfer money or anything else about money. Cause they said they dont have any cctv/camera there. The police should come and take look cause you cant continue. I dont now how they can continue this business without cctv. If you have a problem, trust me your money not gonna back to you.
The only positive with using that post office was never losing parcel, but every time I asked for tracking number after reading reviews. Also seems a day practice for the stuff to sell more expensive services like signature or tracking order. You ask for 1st class stamp and they give you more expensive option. Also multiple times witnessed not being very helpful with service or questions BUT selling more expensive postage option. I limited my visits just to buy stamps once a while.
Google Review opening time is wrong for Saturday, as I found out just before christmas to pick up parcel. It isn't open til 5:30 as show on Google Review, Post Office website states 09:00 - 14:00
I don't even want to give them one star! This is the worst post office I've ever been to. My partner and I was short changed twice. Once for £10 and the second time I went I took out a few hundred and it was £100 short. I was in a hurry and didn't check which was my bad but didn't expect somebody at the post office to steal right in front of me. They have clearly done this before and are very good at it because how I didn't notice is beyond me! It wasn't until I got to the bank that I realised. I went straight back and when questioned I was told I was the liar and to leave! I asked them to check their security cameras but apparently the cameras were not working. Very convenient!! I don't know any Post Office where cameras are not working or not switched on. So if you have to use this post office please check all money before leaving these daylight robbers
Was exchanging travel money back to pounds and the cashier male was extremely rude making me seem as if he’s borrowing me money out of he’s own pocket, extremely arrogant and even told me not to come back or go elsewhere which was uncalled for will never use this post office again as he served the other customers who didn’t have dark skin politely
