I have nothing but praise for Their professionalism and great service. Even offered to drive myself and my 3yr old daughter home after dropping the rental car back to them. Great service and would definitely recommend using them as I will be if I need to.

This is a fantastic place to hire a car or van, as all their transport is well looked after and of good quality, breakdown is included, their prices are very reasonable, they are extremely flexible with their out of hours return times, the staff are absolutely amazing, so warm & friendly, plus in my experience, they really do care, as if it hadn't been for Tony manning the reception desk, I would never of got to my destination, I can never thank him enough, so helpful.

Unfortunate for me, I needed to get to a funeral in Somerset, and the day before I was due to leave, a Sunday, our car developed a fuel leak on top of water back pressure/overheating that my Husband couldn't get sorted after the whole cooling system was replaced, what a nightmare!

My Husband went to the depot and managed to arrange a hire car for me at 8am Monday morning, and got all the relevant paperwork done whilst i packed, they only had one car left (but it was small), I was still so lucky & when I got there, my first impression was what a lovely warm hearted man (Tony)who spoke to me so respectfully as he gave me some forms to sign, plus the car key, so straightforward.

What a lovely looking car, a beautiful 2010 Red VW Polo, she drove as good as she looked, perfect, and I had no problems all week, it was sad to take her back & I have now changed the way I feel about smaller cars, plus if ever we need to hire some form of transport in the future, we'll never go anywhere else!

I was recommended this company by a friend who regularly uses Wessex for business purposes.

I rented a van to move house over the weekend and couldn't have asked for better service. Reasons why:

They allowed to keep my car in their secure car park meaning I didn't have to arrange a lift there and back to collect / drop back the van. That saved fuel, time and hassle in itself.

I was able to return the van after office hours using their secure drop off facility. 

It was the best price I could find after shopping around, so it wasn't the newest van but it fit for purpose. 

When I got held up returning the van they were friendly and helpful and didn't charge me extra - for this reason Wessex gets the full 5 starts.
