Having been a client of Enterprise for over a year and having an online account with them and having already hired a vehicle with them at least 3 times within the past 8 months I decided to hire a fourth time in August. I received a call from them the night before saying I had not passed their address verification system despite the fact that I am on the electoral roll there. Can I bring my passport in? Which I did next morning only to be told that as I had not passed their online verification I could not have a van. Never mind that I had my driver's license and passport and I am on the electoral roll and I have been a fee paying client for a year AND that you pay £200 deposit for each van hire plus the insurance. All this said the branch manager because" I am here to protect my assets" I do so hope that this bureaucratically hidebound national organisation will one day train their staff and tell them that their client base actually is a bigger asset than their already insured vehicle base. I think I have got loyalty points on my account.....wonder what I am going to do with these? Footnote........Southern Self Drive rented the same vehicle for a cheaper price a few hours later using the same documents I supplied.

Not very happy as the bill came to £756.00 But they charged us £980.00. So we walked out without the van

I recommend highly enterprise. Very friendly staff and helpful, excellent car choices.

We rented a Hyundai Tuckson car from Enterprise. we booked a small car initially but the enterprise adviser sitting in the front office was kind enough with us to provide a big and better car for a small upgrade amount. Really recommend !
