I needed to sell my car quickly for no suspicious reasons, person was very nice and helpful on the phone explaining stuff. Unlike what some other people say about finding lots of excuses to pay lower, I actually got slightly more than what I was quoted because I filled out the description of the car honestly and, at the end of the day, they do say that you don’t have to take the offer. Can recommend.
Shocking. Guy was unapproachable. Never said a word. Price dropped from over 650 to less than 180. I put in the condition of the car online to get an accurate ish value. I said no and he just walked off not saying anything !
Really easy the guy who completed the transaction was super helpful..made selling my elderly fathers car so easy.
Initial online Price of Car is high but very different when you take the car for its appraisal. Making all sorts of excuses to justify the lower valuation. I got hundreds £ more from another competitor Arnold Clark. I would not recommend We Buy Any Car to anyone.

Excellent service and very transparent. All fees explained clearly and a simple fast experience. I would always bring my car here first before getting a very poor part-X deal from a local “rip-em-off” dealership. This is the second time this year for us.

Alan was absolutely brilliant. He was very friendly, helpful and professional. He explained the whole procedure and gave us a very fair price. I can highly recommend We Buy Any Car Galashiels.
The guy was friendly and professional. I would say they do basically give you good price to dangle the carrot. Then when they check your car, they then knock off for all the bits of wear and tear etc. How ever don't be afraid to negotiate and if your not happy walk away. I feel it was ok as they do the same as the garages and we eventually got a deal.
Fairly poor experience. Gave them a try despite hearing many negative things, drove 45 minutes over, vehicle valuation was 3k nice BMW, great condition, fsh, new tryes ect went over and the rep nit-picked it down to almost half that £1700. I declined it instantly and asked for the return of the V5 and keys, he refused and went off into his office leaving me out in the rainy car-park, he fiddled at his computer for ten minutes then came back and offered £200 more, which I again declined instantly. I got my documents back and sold the car privately for 4k a few days later. One of his friends was lurking about the office too, he came over as I was leaving and gave it the "c'mon wahat are you really after for it", I said "something closer to the value", He laughed. That was it really. I'd be very wary of their hard bargain policy. Not worth the time.
