My daughter bought a Mini from here last year and has had bother ever since. Bought it in good faith from the owner of garage thinking it was a good reliable car so he said. My of seen us coming. Had it 3 months then started going wrong. Cost fortunate to repair. Stay very clear from this garage!!
Bought a Fiat Doblo in Nov 2019. Very clean car well presented good communications with Andrew before getting the train down from Aviemore. Had an excellent drive home, the car was checked before I picked it up with new glow plugs and timing belt changed. Its a diesel and it starts first time even when temperature is minus 8C as of recently. We are very pleased with the price and the service received. We would recommend. Regards Rod.
Can highly recommend Andy who is a mechanic there! Very fair, and gets the job done! Bought my car from "Moto" in February and as with all cars was twitchty re longevity... But now have a garage and mechanic I will use for my time in the Borders!
After buying a motor and on driving home I had 2 major issues, a big lump of trim just fell off then the head gasket went, I had the vehicle towed home by the AA. At my own cost I cannot fault how quickly the garage had the car lifted and taken away to have the engine repaired then deliver the car back to where they collected it. BUT.... getting the trim replaced was a whole different problem. After turning up with a blue coloured replacement trim the colour was supposed to be gunmetal grey the guy said he would fit it anyway, I told him no and to take it away and I gave him what was left of the old trim so they can get the colour right. After a week or so I got a phone call to say the new trim was ready and was an exact match, I had to go away for work and against my better judgement told them where the car would be They fitted it and must have noticed that an olive green trim was not the same as the gunmetal grey trim on the rest of the car. It stands out a mile, It's not a small bit of trim. I have given up and will spend the 100 quid the garage should have spent to get the right colour. Sorry moto car sales, had you just spent the money on a genuine part off of ebay rather than try buy a cheap part and spray it I would have given you 5 star. You get the 2 stars you deserve this time
Had a couple of different cars from here over time, nothing but problems from them. The last one I had ended up getting taken back as I refused to keep it due to the constant list of ever growing problems which meant the car shouldn't have been sold to me in its condition. Haven't been back since, won't be back again. I guess you get what you pay for as these are old, cheap cars.
Great service can't fault this garage 1st class.Alistair picked us up from bus station went around the car with us and showed us everything great service great car.thanks Alistair
Went to look at car but found something different. Would maybe benefit from a actual sales page rather than link to ebay
I bought a car in August with a “years MOT” four months later could hear a strange noise coming from front wheels, taken to garage for a look and presented with a £500 bill for brake pads, callipers, brake discs and hand brake only done 2000 miles my advice don’t buy anything from this company.
1st class throughout .. easy & honest purchase . Vehicle was absolutely everything l expected it to be , and was exactly as described. Top drawer.
