I recently bought a fantastic used V90 Cross Country from Clelands. The car is perfect and I really enjoyed the experience of test driving it and dealing with the team. It's also fair to say that my kids also enjoyed the hot chocolate machine and free snacks I was very relieved for this outcome since I'd just had a very poor experience at a non-volvo dealership which resulted in me having to return a car that was faulty and they didn't know how to fix it. I'll always go to a main brand dealer from now on - there's such a big difference in the treatment you receive and the confidence you get in driving away a car that's been properly checked and sorted, but also knowing that they're the right people to go back to if anything does go wrong. Highly recommended.

Excellent support following accident. Jamie is guiding me through tricky recovery and claims process. Haven’t even managed to get my car to the garage yet and getting help and knowledgeable support. Let’s hope when my car is recovered to the garage it can be fixed and not written off. Mince pies to the team at Galashiels!

Car in for fault diagnosis, staff very friendly and customer service was fantastic. Had the option of a courtesy car but decided to hang around and was able to use dealers wifi to access my works network whilst they dealt with my car. Parts required and car booked back in to be fixed in the new year. Car cleaned for me and they even left a small tin of mints in the car and also replaced the missing windscreen chip sticker. Small details but they make the difference.

They sell cars of thr Volvo variety. Plus others. They service vehicles too. I cannot comment on the customer service of thus place as I have had no interaction with anyone there, although the staff look very friendly and smile alot. Roomy car park.

I took the car in for some replacement brake discs, they did a full health check and were on-time, thorough and communicative. I never felt like I was being "up-sold" anything at any point and as a result of that I will be taking my car back when it needs its regular service.

Bought a trade 2009 Rav 4, We had a little discussion about the tyres and some rust and got £300 off, I was told the car had a 1 month warranty. I noticed the brakes weren't as sharp as they should be but it could have been stood for a while. I refueled the car for the journey home. the braked did not improve and noticed when I got home the fuel filler pipe had leak corroded anything above quarter of a tank leaks. Next morning battery totally flat, bought new battery, took the car to MOT station, car would have failed MOT poor brakes, caliper sliders seized, and would fail MOT due to fuel leaking from fuel filler pipe, So ordered all new brakes for the front + sliders, new filler pipe. So the car now was unsafe for use on the road, I contacted Clelands and was 100% fobbed off, They did offer me my money back but I was 140 miles away with a car not fit for the road. I was told the warranty was for "Major" parts only, Disappointingly there was no interest what so ever and the manager couldn't be bothered to phone me back when I was told he would. It looks like the car had not been inspected before sale, If it had then it opens a can of worms, it's cost me an additional £500 to make the car roadworthy, In addition to that, due to the condition of the chassis when I got under it I paid AB 4x4 £350 to try and derust and underseal it, but I accept that was my choice but had to be done before winter due to the poor condition. Just be careful when you buy a trade car from Clelands, get it inspected before you buy, I'm sure the Volvo customers will be treated like royalty. I would have had better treatment from a back street garage.

Professional outfit that always gives a first class service,always willing to do that bit extra making the customer comfortable while work is being carried out on their vehicle.I was very kindly driven down into the town and picked up again by an employee while my vehicle was being serviced. The girl on reception is very well mannered and pleasant I Think Rachel is her name and always willing to offer help.The mechanics are always willing to discuss work being carried out and advise when needed.A video is sent to your mobile phone to show the work being carried out.First class operation of which I would not hesitate in recommending!

BRILLIANT!!!... Can't say much more really. I, myself...am a car salesperson. So I have a pretty good idea of how a dealership should or could be run. THIS IS IT!...I Bought it without seeing it in person..but had a video and pictures sent to me by David top guy Everything was as described, which was great as I travelled from Leeds 170miles away and was not disappointed. He's honest..upfront and GENUINE. Just what you want when you part with your hard earned money. Receptionist is friendly and the product genius was on hand to make sure I understood the controls. I may well return in 2/3 years!!! Thank you Clelands

Great service. David kept me informed of when my car would be delivered. David ran through all the cars functions lovely bouquet of flowers in boot. All in all great experience buying from Clelands
