The room was nice and large and very clean. The bed wasn't the comfiest but it was fresh and warm. There was a TV in the room and the en suite had a shower, toilet and sink. Ideal for a couple of nights away. Breakfast was really good. Full English, toast, cereal, fresh coffee and juice. There were milk and cereal alternatives for allergies too. We were made to feel very welcome and the manager was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that wasn't great was that the walls were pretty thin so we could hear everything. And I mean 'everything'!
A really excellent stay, staff couldn't be more helpful and excellent for Wedgewood Rooms for a gig. Walkability: Wedgewood Room, Beach, UBS, restaurants and Southsea pier.
We stayed here 2 nights and everything was amazing. The area was nice and quite with loads of small shops and restaurants near by. The beach was within 10 minutes walk. Accomodation it self was very well equiped and extremely clean. The breakfast was a nice touch and it was delicious. The only "negative" thing I can think of is that there wasn't a hairdryer in the room. However, I'm sure if you let the staff know you will need a hairdryer in advance, then they will sort it out. The staff was very friendly and overall I can only recommend others as well, to stay at waverley park lodge. Rooms: There was a TV, Kettle, En-Suit and a very comfortable and clean bed. Nearby activities: Easy walk to the beach, Central isn't far either and Fratton station is within walkable reach which means if you need to take the train to Portsmouth harbour then you could. Safety: It was quite safe. Doors were always locked so, there weren't anything to be afraid off. Food & drinks: Food and drinks were really good during breakfast. Coffee was decent and was frequently replaced. Breakfast was from 8-9:00.

Had a lovely time with my family the gentleman was very pleasant and friendly you feel so welcomed and the rooms where a lovely size only issue is parking but it can't be helped.Rooms: 5/5
Nice host/ hostess, mainly left to your own devices once your given your Key. Got lucky with a Parking Space just round the corner with a £10 deposit for a Permit to be there. Comfy warm bed and cute little TV with Complimentary tea and Coffee. Breakfast was nice but only 1 Sausage and 1 Slice of bacon but Cereals and Toast included. Worth the visit for 1 night before going to The Isle Of Wight for a week. Thank you Gary and Hazel. Cheers Hazel. Xx
Stayed here 1 night with family. Lovely hotel. Nice rooms with private bathrooms. Pleasant staff. Very helpful. Breakfast was exceptional. Parking facilities really good. I had a 17 seater minibus.
It was perfect, very economically priced. Breakfast was great. Beds perfectly comfortable and the host was wonderful. The room was clean and the place although full was also quite at night.Rooms: 5/5
The place is quite great especially their family room. So many beds available in the room. And the breakfast too was also good. I highly recommend.
Checked in today 12/7/2121, Garry very helpful and pleasant, I have family room at the very top just for me, Clean and Pleasant room about 5-10 mins walk to the beach. Good bus route from Albert Road Traffic lights.
