This is a lovely small hotel in a quiet position in short walk from beach and Southsea Pier! Near bus stops with plenty of buses into Portsmouth Harbour! Local shop for anything short walk away too! The hotel is well kept and lovely inside! Our room was a good size, as was the bathroom! Bed was nice and big too! Breakfast is included which is lovely and you have a choice! We both had cooked breakfast both days and it's freshly cooked and was delicious!! Will be going back! Rooms: The rooms are well equipped and good size! Nearby activities: Short walk to beach and pier which has amusement arcade on! Plenty of cafes on it too! Plenty of buses into Portsmouth Harbour short walk too, also near pier! Walkability: Plenty of places to walk! You can walk the promenade both ways, one way takes you into Portsmouth going past Southsea Castle and if you can walk far, the Hovercraft for Isle of Wight! The other way takes you to Hayling Island Ferry!!! Food & drinks: The Breakfast is included and you have a choice, the cooked breakfast is highly recommended!!! Also plenty of cafes around!
Really lovely hotel. Friendly welcome. Hotel itself was really clean, the room was well presented. Quiet stay, didn't really hear the other guests. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice of cereals and things and the option to have a hot breakfast cooked to order. Overall a lovely stay and would go back.
This place is a little gem! Its so different. The room we had Glittering was so clean. It was a lovely room. Breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed a couple of nights. Brilliant. You can stroll to the beach in ten minutes. Parking is good.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed here for two nights in the Giddy Room. So clean, comfortable, staff friendly, breakfast superb. Jacuzzi in the room, we had everything we needed. We would like to say a big thank you and would highly recommend. We look forward to seeing you again as we will definitely be coming back to stay. Rooms: 5/5

What a fantastic hotel, from the moment we arrived, the greeting was amazing shown to our room helped with luggage. Awalys a warm hello or good morning from hotel staff during our stay. Amazing room we stayed in room Glad very big with four poster bed, bedroom wow double shower, jacuzzi bath room for two hot water top marks. Great choices for breakfast means there is definitely something for everyone's taste all made fresh. We will definitely be going back. Parking is either in front five parking spaces at the hotel or on the road, for which the hotel provides a free permit. Good location for exploring the local area or going Southsea/ Portsmouth. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent hotel! Lovely rooms, piping hot water in double shower or jacuzzi bath. Hearty, freshly made breakfast. Staff are attentive but also very chilled. We stayed here had a lovely visit and returned 5 years later to same room and we were equally impressed!! Highly recommend a visit. Rooms: Spacious, clean ,warm, lovely hot showers, comfy bed. Food & drinks: Lovely breakfast and Bar too
Comfortable room, clean, shower/bath not great, can't see to shave in the bathroom mirror. Tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast doesn't start until 7am.Rooms: 4/5
