Great little natural play area for 2-14 year olds with a cafe and toilets open all year round. Very muddy in the winter so wear boots or wellies. We haven't ventured on any of the walks yet but we'll be back once the weather improves as they look fun for all the family. Big dog walking area too from the amount of walkers we saw. Plenty of benches and outdoor seating areas. Perfect for picnics in the warmer weather. Car park charges apply.

Beautiful open countryside. Best dog walking in the area. Cafe to provide refreshments after a good walk.

Great open space with 360° views of surroundings. It's very muddy & slippy in places so go carefully! Small cafe with friendly staff. Covered outdoor seating too if you have a dog. Clean toilets. 1 hour parking 80p

First time to the park to do some sledging. Didn't know carpark was pay and display and didn't have a single penny in my purse. Went into cafe and asked if I would get a ticket and they weren't sure but suggested I ask the Ranger. Made my way to the offices and found a man that I believed worked or lived there. Told him my situation and he kindly gave me the 80p to park for 1 hour. Thank you so much and we truly enjoyed our hour there!!!
